Short Prayer/Dua/Dhikr in Islam

There are so many Short Prayer/Dua/Dhikr in Islam. We should learn them , understand them and remember to say few times a day. As a kid, I learn few  that I want to share here. I hope to teach my family the same and hopefully someone who is reading at this blog entry will be benefited Insha-Allah. The prayer/duas are so beautiful and it's Allahs' mercy that it was provided to us to elevate ourselves to help to go Heaven insha-allah.

LA ILAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH

Translation:

"There is no deity but Allah (SWT) and Prophet Muhammad (peach be upon him) is his messenger."


Subhanallahi Wa Bihamdihi Subhanallahil Azeem

Translation:

"Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to him, glory be to Allah the great"


SUBHANALLAH WALHAMDULILLAH WALA ILAHA ILLALLAH WALLAHU AKBAR

Translation:

"Glory be to Allah, Praise be to Allah, There is no God but Allah, Allah is Great, There is no Support and No Power except in Allah"

Rab-bir hum huma kama rabbayani sagheera

Translation:

"O Allah! bestow on my parents Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood"


Rabbi zidni 'ilma

Translation:

"My Lord, increase me in knowledge"


LA ILAHA ILLA ANTA SUBHANAKA INNI KUNTU MINAZ ZALIMI

Translation:

"There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."


LA HAWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAHIL ALIYYIL AZIMIM

Translation:

"There is no power and no strength except with Allah. "


Allahumma Antas-Salam wa minkas-salam. Tabarakta ya Dhal-jalali wal- ikram

Translation:

“O Allah, You are As-Salam, From You is all peace, blessed are You O Possessor of majesty and honour”


Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa’fu annee

Translation:

“O Allah, You are Pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me"


Astaghfirullah

Translation:

"I seek forgiveness from Allah"


SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM

Translation:

"peace and blessings of Allah be upon him”.


Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanataw-wa fil Aa’khirati hasanataw-wa-qina ‘azaaban-naar

Translation:

“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”


Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, Wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulu-Allah

Translation:

“I bear witness that there is no God but God (Allah – i.e. there is none worthy of worship but Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”



La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ala kulli shay in qadeer

Translation:

" there is no true God except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; is the Sovereignty and His is the Praise, and He is Omnipotent."
